Frequently Asked Questions
What is ForgeBLVD?
ForgeBLVD is a curated stainless steel jewelry supply shop offering chains, findings, charms, and components for designers, makers, and growing jewelry brands. We focus on pieces that are practical to work with, consistent in finish, and made for real jewelry designs.
What materials do you use?
Most ForgeBLVD products are made from 304 stainless steel, with select components made from 316L stainless steel. The exact material, finish, measurements, and construction details are always listed on each product page.
Will stainless steel tarnish or fade?
Stainless steel is valued for its durability and resistance to rust and tarnish. With normal wear and proper care, silver-tone stainless steel maintains its finish well over time.
Gold-tone items have a plated finish, so their longevity can vary based on wear, care, and exposure to chemicals. We clearly list the finish on every product so you know exactly what you are purchasing.
How do I care for stainless steel jewelry?
Stainless steel is low maintenance. To help preserve your finished jewelry, avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, perfumes, and lotions when possible. Wipe pieces with a soft cloth as needed and store them in a dry place.
Do you have a minimum order or offer bulk purchasing?
There is no minimum order requirement. You can purchase what you need, whether you are testing a design, making a small batch, or sourcing for ongoing production.
For larger quantities or repeat sourcing needs, contact us before ordering so we can help confirm availability.
How is chain sold by the foot?
Choose the quantity based on the total number of feet you need. For example, a quantity of 3 means three total feet of chain. Multiple feet are provided in one continuous length whenever possible.
How do you choose your products?
We do not list everything. Each chain, finding, charm, and component is reviewed before it earns a place in our collection. We look at finish, construction, color, measurements, durability, and how the piece works in real jewelry designs.
If something does not meet our standards, we do not list it.
