Our Story

Hi, I’m Carolina Machado, the founder, designer, and maker behind Tux & J. Jewelry. I started creating jewelry because I love turning small, thoughtful moments into something you can wear and carry with you. Each piece is handcrafted in Georgia, USA, in small batches, so every bracelet and necklace is truly one-of-a-kind.

I believe in working hard, but I also don’t take life too seriously. Life is a journey, and I intend to enjoy it, learn from the hard moments, and keep moving forward. That philosophy is woven into every piece I create: jewelry that feels meaningful, personal, and designed to be worn with joy. Handmade with care, each bracelet or necklace carries a little story, a touch of character, and a reminder to celebrate the everyday moments.

Animals have always held a special place in my heart—they inspire me with their curiosity, joy, and the way they fully embrace life in the moment. My own pets, Taz (AKA Tux) and J, are constant reminders of that spirit, and they inspired the name of my brand. Their playful energy and endless curiosity influence the care and thoughtfulness I put into every piece I create.
